Protest With Flags Against Coup Attempt
All the service buildings of our university have been bedecked with Turkish flags in order to protest the military coup attempt done against the national will by a minority in Turkish Armed Force on the night of 15th July, 2016.

This move against the unity and integrity of our country ended up with failure and it received  necessary response from our nation and all the institutions of the state. Our university, as well, has protested this coup attempt by hanging Turkish flags on all its service buildings.

Issuing a condemnation message, our rector Prof. Dr. Ebubekir Ceylan said: ”Our academic and administrative personnel are all a single body in respect of preserving national will and democracy.  I wish Allah would have mercy on all our democracy martyrs for this aim, give patience to their relatives and a speedy recovery to the wounded”.
